Whats wrong with my dog?
My dog keeps eating like a 1/2 a pound of grass. And then throws it up. And then eats another 1/2 a pound and throws it up. etc. And he keeps on heaving and heaving and heaving and drinking lots of water to the point of over hydration. Im really worried cause he also keeps shaking like he is having a seizure. Would anyone know what could possibly be wrong with him?? The vet doesnt have any open appointments until tomorrow so I have to wait?
generally dogs eat grass when their stomachs are upset. The drinking of water is to keep him from dehydrating since he?s throwing up. The shaking is most likely from the heaving and throwing up. But if he stiffens up while shaking doing it repeatedly more than likely its a seizure. Try to keep him plenty of water and a close eye on him. Then tomorrow take him to the doctor as soon as you can just to be safe.
